Goalkeeper

Riemann GK – VfL Bochum - 79 -> 84 Rated: Borussia Dortmund missed the chance to move four points clear of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga after being held to a 1-1 draw at lowly Bochum. Riemann, who hasn't been good all season, pulled out a real standout performance against Dortmund and made a total of 6 saves to deny Dortmund and save an important point for his side.

Defenders

Bornauw LB – VfL Wolfsburg - 75 -> 83 Rated: Jonas Wind's double helped Wolfsburg to a 3-0 victory at home against Mainz, who they also leapfrogged in the Bundesliga table, as they gave their hopes of securing qualification for European football a significant boost. The inform could instead go to Bornauw who scored the third goal for his side and also kept a clean sheet.

Lindelof CB – Man United - 80 -> 84 Rated: A first half goal from Bruno Fernandes was enough to earn Man Utd a crucial win over high-flying Aston Villa on Sunday. Made a couple of vital interventions in the second half to prevent Villa from opening United up and made a brilliant goal-line clearance in the second half. Put his body on the line for the cause.

Dodo RB – Fiorentina - 83 -> 86 Rated: Fiorentina went back on winning was with a thumping 5-0 victory at home against Sampdoria. Jovic would be the obvious shout with 3 assists but with the amount of strikers this week and the fact Dodo was named MOTM I'm instead including the Brazil fullback who also scored one of his side's goals.

Midfielders

Kimmich CDM – Bayern - 90 -> 91 Rated: Bayern Munich moved back into first place thanks to second half goals from Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman that broke Hertha Berlin's stubborn resistance at the Allianz Arena on Sunday. Both goals were assisted but German international Kimmich who was back at his best and could pick up another special card this week.

A. Gomes CDM – LOSC Lille - 75 -> 83 Rated: After a slip-up against Angers early in the month and the draw with Auxerre last weekend, Lille could ill afford more dropped points as they sought to give themselves breathing space in the race for a top-five finish and qualification for European football next season. Andre Gomes found the net twice as a Rémy Cabella-inspired Lille scored three times in the first half to defeat struggling Ajaccio 3-0 on Saturday and strengthen their hold on fifth place in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats table.

Le Fee CAM – Lorient - 81 -> 85 Rated: Lorient's 3-1 win at Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday that has turned the heat back up in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats title race. It was a big game from the midfielder from Lorient! Always as serene on the ball, the young talent never panicked under the Parisian pressure. His technical finesse and his vision of the game allowed him to break the opposing lines and to relieve his team. Rewarded by a goal at the beginning of the game at the end of a magnificent collective action.

Y. Pino LM – Villareal - 79 -> 84 Rated: Villareal took another step to European football next season, recording their second consecutive La Liga win with a 3-1 at home against Celta Vigo. Yeremy Pino got himself two assists from the LM position and could be in this week with his first inform.

Forwards

Raphinha RW – FC Barcelona - 88 -> 89 Rated: Barcelona moved 11 points clear at the top of La Liga with a thumping victory against Real Betis on Saturday. Raphinha continued his brilliant run of form tonight, adding a goal and assist to his tally for the season. Gave Miranda’s nightmare with his combination play and off-the-ball runs.

Castellanos ST – Girona - 77 -> 83 Rated: Girona recorded a surprise win midweek, beating at Real Madrid B-team with 4-2 at home. The undisputed star of the show was NYCFC loanee Valentin Castellanos who absolutely stood out, scoring all four goals for his side and was Real's nightmare that day.

L. Martinez ST – Inter Milan - 88 -> 89 Rated: Inter Milan defeated Lazio 3-1 on Match Day 32 of the 2022/2023 Serie A season after an excellent attacking display. Lautaro Martinez was subbed on with half an hour left to play and turned out to be the super sub as the Argentinian scored twice and secured big three points for his side.

Substitutes

Skorupski GK – Bologna - 76 -> 83 Rated: Bologna and Juventus finished the 32nd Serie A matchday, sharing points in a 1-1 draw. Bologna's shot-stopper Skorupski was named Man of the Match after he made a total of five saves, including a penalty save.

Espino LB – Cadiz CF - 78 -> 84 Rated: Cadiz CF recorded an important 2-1 victory in their relegation battle at home against Valencia and extended their gap to the unwanted spots to now four points. Fullback Espino was named MOTM after he got an assist and made a goal line clearance.

Lerma CDM – Bournemouth - 75 -> 83 Rated: Bournemouth beat Leeds United 4-1 on Sunday at the Vitality Stadium to all but secure their Premier League status and make it four wins from five. Jefferson Lerma was dominant in the middle of the park and on top of that added two goals to his tally, making him an obvious candidate for this week.

Gouiri LM– Stade Rennais - 79 -> 84 Rated: Stade Rennais completed a comeback win from being down early in the game, beating Angers at home with 4-2 and kept their hopes of European football next season. Jeremy Doku was named Man of the Match after he scored twice but with his recent inform I'm instead going with Gouiri who scored one and assisted another.

Wilson ST – Newcastle Utd. - 82 -> 85 Rated: Newcastle edged closer to Champions League qualification for the first time in 20 years with a crushing 4-1 win over Everton at Goodison Park on Thursday night. Equally, the result – as well as the impact on goal differences – puts the Toffees in even more relegation danger. Wilson scored two goals to take his tally for the season to 13. A real instinctive finish to open the scoring. His second was a goal of the season contender. Relished the physical battle against James Tarkowski and Michael Keane.

Welbeck ST – Brighton Hove - 75 -> 83 Rated: Brighton and Hove Albion snapped back to form with a 6-0 demolition of Wolves at the Amex Stadium and remains one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the Premier League. At a time when Evan Ferguson has been out injured, his goals have been very timely. Popped up with a well-placed header after a great leap and then early in the second half curled home an exquisite left-footed shot from outside the box. A very commanding performance from Welbeck.

Santos ST – Talleres - 81 -> 85 Rated: Talleres went back on winning ways in the Argentine top-flight, beating Rosario Central with 3-1. Michael Santos should pick up his second inform this week after the forward scored all three goals for his side.

Reserves

Niklas Kölle CB – Duisburg - 63 -> 78 Rated: A player from Germany's third divison who could pick up an inform is Duisburg's right-back Kölle, who scored twice and assisted another from the center-back position in their 4-0 victory against Bayreuth.

M. Winkler LM – Mannheim - 61 -> 76 Rated: Waldhof Mannheim recorded a 4-1 win against Hallerscher FC in the german third divison and with Marten Winkler scoring a hat-trick he should be in this week.

Simakala ST – VfL Osnabrück - 65 -> 879 Rated: Osnabrükc recoreded a narrow 4-3 win against Zwickau on the weekend and with Simakala scoring three goals he should be in, although two of them came from the penalty spot.

Thelin ST – Malmö FF - 72 -> 82 Rated: Malmö FF took all three points, beating Hammarby with 4-2 and Kiese Thelin scored three of his side's four goals, making him a strong candidate for this week.

M. Smith ST – Sheffield Wed - 68 -> 80 Rated: Sheffield Wednesday recorded a 3-0 win against Shrewsbury on Saturday and Smith got his first career hat-trick since way back in 2016. His first was a fierce drive early on. His second was a brilliant header and his third was a composed finish. Perfect day at the office.
