Goalkeeper

E. Martinez GK – Aston Villa - 84 -> 87 Rated: Aston Villa claimed just their second win at Stamford Bridge in their last 20 attempts with Ollie Watkins and John McGinn capping off another wonderful performance under Unai Emery. Argentinian international Emi Martinez made a number of impressive saves when Chelsea threatened to equalise and picked up an 8/10 match rating.

Defenders

Alderweireld CB – Royal Antwerp - 82 -> 85 Rated: Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Alderweireld and Belgium side Royal Antwerp went back on winning ways in the Pro League, recording a comfortabl 2-0 victory away to Zulte Waregem and basically secured their spot for the Championship round later on. Alderweireld was the decisive player for his side as he scored both goals, with one coming from the penalty spot.

Aguerd CB – West Ham - 80 -> 84 Rated: West Ham moved up to 14th place in the Premier League table on Sunday with a narrow 1-0 win against bottom club Southampton at the London Stadium. Despite returning from international duty with Morocco with a minor concern over a hip injury, Nayef Aguerd was straight back in the starting line-up to partner Zouma at the heart of defence. Had defended well in the first half to shepherd Southampton's forays forward, cutting out possession and starting passing moves forward. Opened the scoring and sparked life into the game when heading in Kehrer's free-kick, initially ruled out before being given after a VAR check, his first goal in a West Ham shirt. Remained solid in the second half and continued his runs forward, showing good pace, awareness and ability to lead in a back line.

Trippier RB – Newcastle Utd. - 86 -> 88 Rated: Newcastle United strengthened their top-four hopes and leapfrogged Manchester United into third in the Premier League table as Joe Willock and Callum Wilson sealed an important win at St James’ Park. The inform tho could go to English international Kieran Trippier who was dangerous on his side throughout the whole game and registered the assist for his side's second goal which ultimatively ended the game.

Midfielders

De Bruyne CM – Manchester City - 93 -> 94 Rated: Manchester City sent a statement to Premier League leaders Arsenal with a 4-1 thumping of Liverpool in Saturday's early kick-off with Arsenal responding with a 4-1 later on. Grealish was named MOTM but with his lates FUT Baller card I'm instead picking De Bruyne. Back to his best without feeling the need to force the issue with crosses. Dictated play and showed a great understanding with Mahrez down the right and recorded a goal and an assist.

Müller CAM – FC Bayern - 88 -> 89 Rated: Bayern Munich made a dominant start to their new era under Thomas Tuchel by thumping Bundesliga title rivals Borussia Dortmund 4-2 to regain top spot in Germany's top flight. Thomas Müller once again proved he's still not done yet and an important player for Bayern as he was involved in basically everything going forward and finished the game with two goals to his name which he scored in his typical style.

Redmond LM – Besiktas - 75 -> 86 Rated: The Turkish Super League saw another thrilling encounter between Fenerbahce and Besiktas with Besiktas grabbing the win with a 4-2 away from home. Nathan Redmond decided the game after coming on as he scored one and assisted another three and should be found in the side this week.

R. Leao LM – AC Milan - 86 -> 88 Rated: In the biggest showdown of the weekend, Milan stunned the crowds at the Maradona Stadium by inflicting an embarrassing defeat on their hosts. Despite entering the match as the heavy favorites, the Partenopei had no answer to the masterclass of Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz who ran wild in Naples. Rafael Leao could be in this week after his two goals.

Forwards

G. Jesus ST – Arsenal - 83 -> 86 Rated: Arsenal restored their eight-point lead at the Premier League summit with an ultimately commanding 4-1 victory at home to Leeds United on Saturday afternoon. It was easy to forget exactly what he offered the team in his absence. Drive, determination and application in abundance laced with a huge degree of close control skill. Arteta has used the word ‘chaos’ when referring to Jesus for good reason as that is what he causes, finishing the game with a brace.

Lewandowski ST – Barcelona - 91 -> 92 Rated: Barcelona continued their push towards the La Liga title with a comfortable 4-0 victory over the division's bottom side Elche on Saturday. Scored early for the first time in four league games, should have made it two just before half time. Made up for it by grabbing a second to make it 3-0. A welcome return to the goals for the Polish international.

Benzema ST – Real Madrid - 91 -> 92 Rated: Real Madrid warmed up for their midweek Clasico with a 6-0 thrashing of lowly Real Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday afternoon. Benzema scored a 7-minute hat-trick with an easy one, a hard one, and an outrageous one. Two weeks off seems to have done the striker the world of good. If this Benzema shows up on Wednesday, Real will fancy their chances.

Substitutes

Omlin GK – Gladbach - 79 -> 84 Rated: Hosts Cologne were left frustrated in a 0-0 draw with Rhine rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday afternoon. Cologne dominated the game most of the time but were unable to score, either because of lack of concentration or because of Gladbach's shot-stopper Omlin who prevented them from scoring and finished the game with 5 saves to his name.

Roussillon LWB – Union Berlin - 76 -> 83 Rated: Sheraldo Becker ended a run of 11 games without a goal as Union Berlin consolidated third place with a commanding win over bottom side VfB Stuttgart. Jerome Roussillon could pick up the inform this week after he registered one assist and made a clearance off the line for Berlin.

Kohr CDM – Mainz 05 - 76 -> 83 Rated: Bo Svensson's Mainz pulled off a sensational 3-0 win in Leipzig to boost their European qualification hopes at the expense of the hosts' top-four ambitions. There was no clear standout but with Kohr being one of the goalscorers as a CDM and being gold I'm going to predict him to pick up the inform from this game.

Honorat LM– Stade Brest - 77 -> 83 Rated: Stade Brest recorded another important victory in their battle agains relegation, beating Tolouse with 3-1 at home. Franck Honorat picked up an 8 match rating from L'Equipe after his two assists and could be included this week.

Barrow LW – Bologna - 77 -> 83 Rated: Bologna went back on winning ways after two consecutive Serie A draw, recording a comfortable 3-0 victory a home to Udinese Calcio. Star of the show was Musa Barrow who was involved in all three goals for his side, scoring one and assisting the other two.

Livaja ST – Hajduk Split - 77 -> 83 Rated: Hajduk Split closed the gap to leaders Dinamo Zagreb to 7 points with a narrow 3-2 win away at Sibernik and Livaja once again showed he's a proven goalscorer, recording a goal and a brace of assists for his side.

De Jong ST – PSV - 79 -> 84 Rated: PSV Eindhoven has climbed to tied second place in the Eredivisie after a comfortable 4-2 win over NEC Nijmegen and Ajax only drawing their game. Luuk De Jong was the one to decide the game for his side as he scored twice and registered an assist.

Reserves

A. Morris CM – Columbus Crew - 63 -> 78 Rated: It appears Aidan Morris is the next big Nancy project. The 21-year-old central midfielder was the man of the match on Saturday, scoring his second and third career goals in a 4-0 thumping of Real Salt Lake.

Guilavogui LW – Paris FC - 69 -> 81 Rated: Lower leagues often produce entertaining games and this is what happened between Valenciennes and Paris FC where Paris took all three points with a 5-4 away win. Guilavogui was one of the best players and will be in this week after he scored a hat-trick and also registered an assist.

Flips LM – Stade Reims - 71 -> 81 Rated: Stade Reims secured another Ligue 1 victory with a 3-0 away against FC Nantes and with Flips scoring twice for his side he could be in this week.

Cuypers ST – KAA Gent - 72 -> 82 Rated: With only one hat-trick from silvers we have to look somewhere else for potential silver players to make it and one of them could be Cuypers who scored twice in Gent's 5-0 victory away from home.

Ceka ST – Magdeburg - 67 -> 80 Rated: German second division side Magdeburg recorded an important victory agains relegation-battling side Hansa Rostock with a 3-0 home win. With less ha-tricks you can expect Jason Ceka getting in after he scored twice and assisted the other.
