Goalkeeper
Ledesma GK – Cadiz - 86 -> 88 Rated: There are a bunch of goalkeepers this week with Inform-worthy performances and one of them came from the La Liga in the name of Ledesma. Cadiz and Getafe played out a 2-2 draw and the most action came at the end of the game with red cards on both ends and penalties for both sides. Despite conceding twice, Ledesma still was a threat for Cadiz, making a total of 8 saves to make sure his side at least earned a point.
Defenders
Cancelo
RWB – FC Bayern - 89 -> 90 Rated:
Bayern thrashed Augsburg 5-3 in Munich to open up a three-point gap at the top of the Bundesliga. Cancelo was called up into the starting lineup and showed why he can be one of the best wingbacks in world football. The Portuguese international scored one and assisted another and was a threat throughout the whole game for Augsburg.
Kim Min-Jae CB – Napoli FC - 79 -> 86 Rated: There is just no stopping Napoli in Serie A this season. Once again, Luciano Spalletti's side were presented with a challenge against stubborn opponents, and once again they came through in very impressive fashion at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as Napoli regained their 18-point advantage at the top of Serie A with a 2-0 win over Atalanta. Kim Min-Jae once again showed why he's one of the best defenders in Europe despite not getting the recognition at the moment. Calm in defense, winning duels and making key tackles earned him a 7.5 from Gazzetta.
Walker-Peters RB – Southampton - 79 -> 86 Rated: Southampton picked up an important point in a goalless draw against Manchester United and even had the chance to win the game after Casemiro got send of. Walker-Peters could have been the hero, not just for his defensive shift but also for his effort in attack as he hit the post and was named MOTM.
Midfielders
Rabiot CM – Juventus - 83 -> 86 Rated: At the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Juventus hosted Sampdoria for what turned out to be a thrilling encounter. The Bianconeri thought they had the match wrapped up after scoring from two headers in the first half, but the Ligurians replied with two of their own in the space of a minute to reach the interval on level terms. Nonetheless, the hosts restored their lead in the second period as Adrien Rabiot completed a personal brace and could pick up his second inform this week.
Veerman
CDM – PSV Eindhoven - 78 -> 84 Rated:
PSV Eindhoven fell behind to Cambuur but ran out 5-2 winners against the Eredivisie’s bottom side and recorded their next win in the current campaign. Man of the Match was Veerman who assisted three of the goals, playing as a central defensive midfielder.
McNeil
LM – Evertonn - 76 -> 86 Rated:
Everton recorded another important win as they recorded a narrow 1-0 victory at home to Brentford.
Showed great composure to coolly despatch a left-foot finish past David Raya just 45 seconds into the game to get Everton off to a dream start and continued to produce a polished performance from then on, providing a threat from wide areas with his crossing and moving into pockets of space and even making a goal-line clearance at the other end.
Forwards
J. David ST – Lille - 87 -> 88 Rated: It was a pretty interesting and intense game between Lille and Lyon on Friday as Olympique Lyon came back from behind to secure a 3-3 draw at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy thanks to a brace from Lacazette. The inform might go to Jonathan David tho who scored a hat-trick with two goals coming from the spot.
Aspas ST – RCD Celta - 85 -> 87 Rated: Celta Vigo continued their good form and recorded another convincing 3-0 victory at home against Rayo Vallecano. Iago Aspas finally found the back of the net again after a couple of games without a goal contribution, scoring twice and looks like he could be in this week.
Openda ST – RC Lens - 86 -> 87 Rated: RC Lens pulled a comfortable 4-0 win away against Clermont Foot and this was perhaps Openda's best performance in a Lens jersey since his arrival from Club Brugge last summer, the young forward laying on the fourth goal having already secured a five-minute hat-trick. Openda has had to watch on at times this season as Sotoca or Wesley Saïd have led the line, but he should start for the rest of the campaign if Sunday's performance is anything to go by.
Kane ST – Spurs - 90 -> 91 Rated: The pressure on Antonio Conte may have been unsustainable if his side were unable to beat the Premier League's worst team on the road, but Spurs bounced back from Champions League heartbreak on Wednesday to move six points clear of sixth-placed Liverpool. Linked up the play well throughout. Sent a trademark header into the far corner from Porro's cross 20 minutes in. Played a nutmeg pass to Richarlison which led to the penalty and then he struck that home, his first spot kick since the World Cup. He's now just five Premier League goals behind second-placed Wayne Rooney in the all-time goalscorer ranks.
Substitutes
Dragowski GK – Spezia - 75 -> 83 Rated: Inter Milan lost their second consecutive away game in the Serie A against Spezia in the opening match day and took another blow in their Champions League approach. Spezia's hero was N'Zola who scored and assisted but Dragowski picked up the Gazzetta MOTM after he made 6 saves and also saved a penalty.
Masuaku
LB – Besiktas - 75 -> 83 Rated:
There are a few options for a gold defender this week to make it and I've opted for Besiktas' Masuaku who scored one of the two goals in his side's 2-0 win against Basaksehir.
Mandragora CM – Fiorentina - 75 -> 83 Rated: Fiorentina completed their hat-trick of consecutive Serie A wins on Sunday afternoon, beating Cremonese 2-0 away. Mandragora was the decisive player on that day, scoring ond and assisting the other from the CDM position and with him being gold he should make it this week.
Aholou CM– Strasbourg - 75 -> 83 Rated: Strasbourg picked up what could be a vital late point against a 10-men Marseille side on Sunday evening thanks to two late goals from Aholou who picked up MOTM from L'Equipe. Goodwin LM – Adelaide Utd - 75 -> 83 Rated: Adelaide United made it back-to-back wins in the Australian A-League, beating Newcastle Jets with 4-2. Craig Goodwin has a good chance to pick up the inform on Wednesday after he scored once and registered another two assist for his side.
Trossard
ST – Arsenal - 82 -> 85 Rated:
Arsenal cruised to victory against Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, getting all three goals in a first half in which they played some of their best football of the season. A hat-trick of assists for the Belgian who's return to the team may have been even more welcome than Jesus'. His fluid movement brings the very best out of that Arsenal front line and is so hard to defend. Picked up a 9/10 and Man of the Match.
Bouanga ST – LAFC - 81 -> 85 Rated: Los Angeles recorded their second win in their second game of the season, beating New England 4-0 at home. Bounga played an usual position as he was the central force in attack and paid it back with two goals and an assist.
Reserves
Lapadula
ST – Cagliari - 73 -> 81 Rated:
Cagliari Calcio went back on winnings ways in the Serie B after four consecutive draws, beating Ascoli 4-1 at home. Lapadula could pick up the inform after he scored twice and assisted another.
Hoever RB – Stoke City - 67 -> 80 Rated: There are no hat-tricks from silvers or bronzes this week which leaves room for some other options. One of them who should make it is Hoever who scored twice for Stoke City in their narrow 3-2 against Blackburn.
Wiley
LM – Atlanta Utd - 59 -> 74 Rated:
Atlanta United maintained their nearly perfect start to the new MLS season, picking up a 3-0 win against Charlotte FC. 18-years-old forward Wiley was the MOTM on that day, scoring twice and assisting another.
Lauriente
LW – Sassuolo - 74 -> 81 Rated:
Sassuolo made it three consecutive Serie A wins and stunned Jose Mourinho's AS Roma, picking up all three points in the capital city with an entertaining 4-3. Star of the show was Lauriente who scored twice and assisted another one.
H. Wright ST – Antalyaspor - 68 -> 80 Rated: The Turkish league came back last weekend, although just a couple of teams are playing at the moment. One of these clubs is Antalyaspor who recorded a 4-0 home win over Kayerispor and with Wright scoring twice and assisting another he could be in this week.
