Goalkeeper
Musso GK – Bergamo - 81 -> 85 Rated: Lazio could not stem the leaks in a fast-paced clash with a hungry Atalanta, falling flat in a 2-0 loss emblematic of their issues. Atalanta's shot-stopper Musso was one of the decisive players on the pitch, finishing the game with a total of 5 saves and was named MOTM with a 7.5 from Gazzetta.
Defenders
Di Lorenzo
LB – Napoli - 82 -> 85 Rated:
On Sunday night, Napoli donned their special Valentine jersey as they gave Cremonese a warm welcome to the Stadio Maradona. The Napoli captain showcased why he’s arguably the best right-back in Serie A with another all-round display. Made vital contributions at the back and set up Elmas’ goal with a fabulous assist in his side's 3-0.
Shaw CB – Manchester United - 84 -> 87 Rated: Two goals in the last ten-minutes gave Manchester United a 2-0 win over manager-less Leeds, sending them second in the Premier League table. The best defender and player on the pitch, excellent in central defence and also at full-back. Class act. Also popped up with the assist for the opener.
Frimpong RWB – Leverkusen - 83 -> 86 Rated: Goals from Robert Andrich, Moussa Diaby and Adam Hlozek helped Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen get back to winning ways against a Hoffenheim side who sild further into trouble as a result. Frimpong tho will most likely pick up his second inform after he assisted two of the goals for his side.
Midfielders
Rodri CDM – Man City - 87 -> 89 Rated: Manchester City closed the gap at the top of the Premier League table to just three points with a 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday. Rodri was one of he goalscorers for Manchester City and had a really good game overall.
Banega CM – Al Shabab - 81 -> 85 Rated: The first of two players we could see from the Saudi League this week is Ever Banega. The Argentinian midfielder scored one and assisted another in Al Shabab's 4-2 win against Al Batin.
Savanier
CM – Montpellier - 84 -> 87 Rated:
Montpellier's Savanier is always one of these players who get into the side for one goal contribution and the same might happen this week. The Frenchman scored one goals from the spot in Montpellier's 3-0 win against Brest and picked up an 8 match rating from L'Equipe.
Grifo LM – SC Freiburg - 84 -> 86 Rated: The second Baden-Württemberg derby of the campaign was without one of its main protagonists as Freiburg's coach Streich sat out the visit of Stuttgart due to suspension. Vincenzo Grifo struck two second-half penalties to earn Freiburg a 2-1 win over VfB Stuttgart on Saturday as Dan-Axel Zagadou was twice the culprit in his own penalty box.
Canales RM – Real Betis - 84 -> 87 Rated: Real Betis picked up a narrow 3-2 victory against UD Almeria on the weekend and Canales might pick up an inform on Wednesday after he scored one and assisted another.
Forwards
Ben Yedder ST – Monaco - 86 -> 88 Rated: Monaco extended their unbeaten run to eight league matches with a convincing 3-1 victory over a weakened and woeful Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday afternoon. Ben Yedder played the captain’s role superbly, leading from the front as he set up the opening goal for Monaco and then scored two himself, taking his tally for the season to 19 goals in all competitions.
C. Ronaldo ST – Al Nassr - 90 -> 91 Rated: The second player from the Saudi League who will definetly be in this week is Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar, who joined Al Nassr a few weeks ago, scored all four goals for his side in their 4-0 victory over Al Wheda.
Substitutes
Raya
GK – Brentford - 76 -> 83 Rated:
The second goalkeeper once again was a pain to choose as there wasn't any standout player. I decided to go with Brentford's David Raya who made six saves their 1-1 draw against league leaders Arsenal.
Hübers CB – 1. FC Köln - 76 -> 83 Rated: Cologne brought an end to Eintracht Frankfurt's nine-game unbeaten run in all competitions, picking up a convincing 3-0 home victory. Hübers scored one of the goals for his side and with Skihri not being eligable for his second inform I would expect Hübers to make it.
Escalante CDM – Cadiz - 76 -> 83 Rated: Cadiz picked up a 2-0 victory against Girona on the weekend and Escalante scored one of the two goals for his side.
Jae-Sung
CAM– Mainz 05 - 76 -> 83 Rated:
Mainz pulled clear of Augsburg in the Bundesliga standings with Jae-sung Lee on target twice in a 3-1 win which fuelled the carnival celebrations in the Rhineland Palatinate capital.
Kodjo Fo Doh Laba
ST – Al Ain - 76 -> 83 Rated:
One player who always picks up an inform over the cycle of Fifa is Doh Laba from Al Ain and he could be in the line for his first inform this week after he scored twice and assisted another in Al Ain's victory on the weekend.
Iheanacho
ST – Leicester - 77 -> 83 Rated:
Most were surprised last week when Iheanacho wasn't in the side after his performance so we go again this week. The Nigerian scored one and also registered an assist in Leicester City's thumping 4-1 win against Tottenham.
J. David ST – Lille - 85 -> 87 Rated: Lille moved up above Stade Rennais FC and into fifth with a 2-0 win over Strasbourg at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy as Jonathan David scored both goals in the first half. He recently got his first inform but the gap should be big enough to make a second inform happen this week.
Reserves
Tella RM – Burnley - 67 -> 80 Rated: Burnley picked up another win on their way back to the Premier League with a 3-0 against Preston and Tella scored all goals for his side.
Tabakovic
ST – FK Austria Wien - 64 -> 79 Rated:
The Austrian Bundesliga started again on the past weekend and Austria Wien took all three points with a 3-1 win against Austria Klagenfurt. Tabakovic got subbed on early due to injury and scored twice and assisted the third.
Mijnans
CAM – Alkmaar - 68 -> 80 Rated:
Alkmaar recorded a thumping 5-0 at home to Excelsior and with Mijnans scoring twice and assisting another I expect him to make it into the side this week.
D. Charles
ST – Bolton - 66 -> 80 Rated:
Although two of his three goals came from the spot Dion Charles should still pick up the inform for his hat-trick in Bolton's 5-0 vs Peterborough.
Hollerbach ST – Wehen Wiesbaden - 64 -> 79 Rated: The last potential inform could come from the 3rd division in Germany where Wehen Wiesbaden recorded a narrow 3-2 win against Bayreuth. Hollerbach scored all three goals and should be in this week.
