Goalkeeper

Navas GK – Nottingham Forest - 88 -> 89 Rated: The City Ground is becoming somewhat of a fortress for Nottingham Forest, with their 1-0 win against Leeds meaning that the Reds are now unbeaten at home since 16th September. The costa Rican had a superb debut for his new club. He single-handedly kept his team in front during the first half and made some brilliant saves, with the most notable one coming from Sinisterra’s in the opening minutes. The three-time Champions League winner showed his experience today and fully deserves his clean sheet.

Defenders

Guerreiro LB – Borussia Dortmund - 82 -> 85 Rated: After losing successive games to end 2022, Edin Terzić has won four Bundesliga games on the bounce this calendar year, putting BVB right back in the title race with a thumping 5-1 win over Freiburg. Back in the squad ahead of Julian Ryerson, three assists this afternoon for the Portugal international. With an expiring contract, he’s playing for his BVB future.

Tarkowski CB – Everton - 79 -> 84 Rated: Sean Dyche began his life as Everton manager with a good 1-0 win against the Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday, 4 February. Dyche knows Tarkowski well and it was a performance we’ve seen several times from him at Burnley. Put the defensive side to his game first and made it tough for Arsenal to have space in behind the defence. He then went on to score for the Toffees, much to the delight of the home fans.

Jordi Alba LB – Barcelona - 85 -> 87 Rated: Barcelona extended their lead at the top of the league table to eight points thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over Sevilla at Camp Nou. Jordi Alba broke the deadlock after a typically lung-bursting run into the opposition penalty area, scoring the opening goal of the game and then bagged the assist for Raphinha’s goal.

Hakimi RB – Paris SG - 84 -> 87 Rated: Paris Saint-Germain were far from their best but managed to fight for a 2-1 victory over Toulouse on Saturday. After making a couple of costly errors in recent games, Hakimi put in a performance that redeemed his mistakes. He scored PSG's first goal and provided an assist as Messi made it 2-0. He also won seven duels and played five key passes.

Midfielders

Hojbjerg CM – Spurs - 83 -> 86 Rated: Tottenham ended a two-game home Premier League losing streak after running out 1-0 winners against Manchester City on Sunday evening.Hojbjerg’s pressing caught City out for Spurs’ opener, Hojbjerg was an ever-present in midfield. His protection in the middle forced City to play out wide and effectively neglect Haaland. Outstanding performance from the Danish international.

Berghuis CM – Ajax - 84 -> 87 Rated: The title race in the Eredivisie is wide open again after Feyenoord and PSV drew and Ajax picked up their second convincing win in a row after Schreuder got sacked. Ajax took all three points with a trashing 5-0 away at bottom of the table Cambuur and with Berghuis scoring twice and assisting another we should expect him to be in the team this week.

Coman LM – FC Bayern - 86 -> 88 Rated: A pretty entertaining game between Wolfsburg and Bayern was the icing on the cake of the Bundesliga Matchday with the better outcome for Bayern who ran out as 4-2 winners with 10-man after Kimmich was sent off. Kingsley Coman was one of the decisive factors in that game as the Frenchman scored twice in the first 15 minutes of the game was caused trouble throughout for Wolfsburg, especially in the first 45 minutes of the game.

Forwards

Mbeumo RW – Brentford - 75 -> 83 Rated: Brentford fans can dream of Europe after they recorded a convincing 3-0 victory at home against relegation-battling Southampton. Cameroon attacker Mbeumo is a candidate for an inform on Wednesday after he scored one and assisted another.

Kolo Muani ST – Frankfurt - 78 -> 86 Rated: It's crazy that French international Kolo Muani scores week in and out but hasn't got a single special card until now. That should change this week after he scored twice in Frankfurt's 3-0 over Hertha BSC and being named MOTM.

Iheanacho ST – Leicester City - 77 -> 83 Rated: Aston Villa twice took the lead but still conspired to lose 4-2 at home to Leicester City in a helter-skelter contest on Saturday afternoon. Kelechi Iheanacho was the star of the show on that day, finishing the game with a goal and two assists to his name and should pick up the inform this week.

Substitutes

Schwäbe GK – 1. FC Köln - 77 -> 83 Rated: Goalkeepers have not been easy to select again this week, at least not the second one, so I'm going to predict Cologne's Schwäbe to pick up the inform after he made a couple of saves in his side's goalless draw agains RB Leipzig.

Dawson CB – Wolves - 78 -> 84 Rated: Wolverhampton Wanderers ended their Premier League hoodoo against Liverpool with a thumping 3-0 victory to boost their hopes of avoiding relegation. Dawson produced the perfect first half performance and marked his debut with a goal. He picked up a yellow card on the stroke of half-time and it hindered him slightly after the break. While Dawson couldn’t make too many challenges, he was more than willing to throw his body in the way of absolutely everything Liverpool threw at Wolves.

Goncalves CAM – Sporting CP - 81 -> 85 Rated: Another potential Liga Portugal inform on Wednesday is Sporting’s Pedro Goncalves who scored one and assisted another two in his side’s trashing 5-0 win at home against Braga.

J. Mario RM– SL Benfica - 79 -> 84 Rated: One of two Liga Portugal players we could see this week is Joao Mario who scored twice in Benfica’s 3-0 win away at Arouca and also scored twice and registered an assist in his side’s 3-0 home win over Casa Pia.

Habib Diallo ST – Strasbourg - 77 -> 83 Rated: Two Ligue 1 matchdays the past week leaves us with plenty options for informs from the French top-flight and one of them is Habib Diallo who scored both goals in Strasbourg’s important 2-0 victory at home against Montpellier.

McGoldrick ST – Derby County - 78 -> 84 Rated: League One side Derby County made it six consecutive league wins with a trashing 5-0 victory at home against Morecambe thanks to McGoldrick who scored his third hat-trick of the season and should be found in the side this week.

Pere Milla ST – Elche FC - 76 -> 83 Rated: FC Elche recorded their first win of the 2022/23 campaign and handed Villareal another shocking loss with a 3-1 at home against the yellows. Pere Milla scored all three goals for his side with two of them being penalties.

Reserves

Baschirotto CB – Lecce - 66 -> 80 Rated: Baschirotto could pick up an inform this week after he scored one and kept a clean sheet in Lecce's 2-0 win against Cremonese.

Van der Venne CAM – Melbourne City - 65 -> 79 Rated: Melbourne City recorded another victory in the A-League, trashing Macarthur 6-1 at home with Van den Venne scoring three times from the CAM position.

Antwi-Adjei LW – VfL Bochum - 70 -> 81 Rated: Bochum maintained their insane run of form at home and recorded their fifth consecutive home win, beating Hoffenheim with 5-2. Antwi-Adjei assisted three of the goals and was named Man of the Match for it.

Arslan LM – Dynamo Dresden - 67 -> 80 Rated: There have been a couple of hat-tricks this week, one of them coming fromt the third division in germany where Dresden trashed Hallerscher FC with 7-1. Arslan scored three of the goals and assisted another and will pick up the inform for his performance.n.

Sepulveda ST – Barracas - 66 -> 80 Rated: Barracas Central took all three points after visiting Sarmiento after they played out a 5-3 thriller. Sepulveda should be the one who picks up the inform after he scored three of the goals.
