Goalkeeper

Joel Robles - GK - OVR 78 For the third consecutive visit to the Bernabeu, Real Betis have managed to come away with a clean sheet. This time they only managed a point, via a 0-0 draw, but it could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for Robles, who managed to make 7 saves to keep Madrid out.

Defenders

Grimaldo - LB - OVR 83 I have included a fair few names from the midweek fixtures and for the most part I was more than happy to do so. Grimaldo, however, is the one I feel contains the most risk with him playing in Portugal. Nevertheless, I have included the Spaniard after he picked up two assists and a clean sheet from LB during Benfica's 4-0 home win.

Matthijs de Ligt - CB - OVR 85 A bit of a punt now; with a lack of Calcio A options available, I have decided to go with De Ligt, despite the number of defensive options already available for selection. De Ligt scored the only goal of the game as Juventus recorded a 1-0 away win over Torino. Sirigu impressed, but considering his side lost, I can't see him getting an IF and thus another OTW could be boosted.

Kyle Walker - RB - OVR 84 With Southampton recently losing 9-0 to Leicester, many expected the same to happen when playing Man City. But the Saints actually proved tough competition with them taking the lead before Man City scored two goal in the second half with Walker scoring once and assisting the other to come away with a vital three points in their efforts to keep pace with the league leaders.

Midfielders

Filip Kostic - LM - OVR 82 Some will be quick to jump on the fact that Bayern went down to 10 men in only the 9th minute. But Frankfurt were seriously impressive when hosting the German champions this week, and even though they had a man advantage, a 5-1 win suggests that they could have won regardless. Kostic claimed MOTM with both a goal and assist but several players have a chance here.

Muniain - CAM - OVR 82 With two sets of fixtures played in Spain, it resulted in a lot of options from the division which makes it tight for places. As a result some could easily be snubbed, but with Muniain scoring twice in Bilbao's 3-0 win and getting a perfect three star match rating for doing, so I couldn't ignore him from the side.

Thorgan Hazard - LM - OVR 82 One of three OTW items I have in this side is Hazard The Belgian was involved in both a goal and an assist for Dortmund in their 3-0 win, picking up Kicker's MOTM in the process. He did only receive a 2 match rating, but consider he was MOTM, I can see him sneaking in.

Lionel Messi - RW - OVR 94 The first Messi IF could well be on the way after the Argentine was magnificent during Barcelona's 5-1 win over Valladolid, scoring two and assisting another two. The only negative is that it comes via a midweek match. But with both Italy and Spain having full fixture lists, I can see EA taking them into account, especially with it being Messi.

Forwards

Timo Werner - ST - OVR 83 The results in recent weeks have been largely ridiculous and Leipzig added to that list with an 8-0 demolition of Mainz. Werner put in one of the best performances you will see all season, scoring three and assisting another three, making him the undisputed POTW. Theres a chance we will see two players once again, but unlike Leicester, there is not another obvious choice.

Memphis Depay - ST - OVR 84 Depay got snubbed in a previous International break side, but I fully expect the Dutch international to make the cut for his domestic performance this time around. The Lyon man scored twice, including a last minute winner as they went on to win 3-2 away from home against Toulouse.

Romelu Lukaku - ST - OVR 85 The OTW items are in full force now and Lukaku looks set to be the next upgraded item after his brace in Inter's 2-1 win over Bologna saw him awarded an 8/10 from Gazzetta which should be enough even with the influx of striker options this week.

Substitutes

Frank Fabra - LB - OVR 78 Its been a while since we have had an option from Argentina, but Fabra looks set to make the side and become a decent looking IF after he scored twice from LB during Boca Juniors' 5-1 home win over Arsenal, keeping the early title race as tight as ever.

Nicolas Sanchez - CB - OVR 76 Dunkley was robbed last week which can only be for conceding two goals and although Sanchez falls under the same category, Monterrey did go on to win rather than draw which should work in his favour. That being said, the Argentine has previously been snubbed this season and the competition for defenders is tough this week.

Campana - RM - OVR 80 Levante managed to shock Barcelona coming from behind to win 3-1. All three of their goals came during a crazy 10 minute period with Campana being the main man, both scoring and assisting once. MARCA awarded him MOTM as a result with a perfect three star rating.

Portu - RM - OVR 80 Another La Liga RM now with so many performing I could easily have selected more but three is probably pushing it regardless and thus Orellana is the unlucky player missing out. Onto Portu and the Sociedad man scored twice in their 3-1 away win from what looks to be a RM position.

Nordin Amrabat - RM - OVR 00 Since the inclusion of the Saudi TOTS, we have seen Saudi IFs be awarded whenever possible, and thus I expect Amrabat to make the cut after he scored once and assisted another two when Al-Nassr recorded a 4-0 away win over Abha.

Leandro Trossard - LM - OVR 79 With there being no clear PL options other than Walker, I feel that we could see a couple forced in. Trossard looks like a strong contender for one of those after coming off the bench to score once and assist another in Brighton's 2-0 win over Norwich.

Raul Ruidiaz - ST - OVR 76 Seattle pulled off a shock 3-1 win over Los Angeles in the MLS playoff match with Ruidiaz scoring two of those three goals. This one could easily be a hero item, but with EA seemingly reluctant on anything but a normal IF this year, I would expect Ruidiaz to fall under that category.

Reserves

Fidel - LM - OVR 70 Once again the reserve section is dominated by hat tricks, Fidel is the first of the five I have with the Spaniard scoring three times from LM during Elche's 4-2 home win over Mirandes.

Joe Ralls - CM - OVR 74 Its a shame that silver to silver IFs are no longer a thing as Ralls would actually look like a decent IF. Instead we have what is inevitably a discard IF. Either way Ralls will be making his way into TOTW 8 after he scored three goals during Cardiff's 4-2 home win over Birmingham.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy - ST - OVR 61 Tranmere recorded an impressive 3-1 away win over MK Dons with Hepburn-Murphy scoring all three of those goals. It would mean there are two English Lower League players in the reserves but with limited Premier League options that wouldnt surprise me.

Camilo Ciano - ST - OVR 74 Potentially a risk with this match falling outside the usual Friday to Sunday period but with just the five hat tricks this week I can see all five making the cut, Ciano's three came during a 3-0 win. He also missed a penalty but then scored the rebound so is it really a penalty miss?

Patson Daka - ST - OVR 71 Daka was previously snubbed for three goals but surely we won't see the same fate after the Salzburg man managed to do it again. This time it came in a 3-0 away win over Mattersburg with the third and final goal coming in the final minutes of the game.
