FIFA 19 Team of the Week 33 Predictions

Last week's score: 17/23
Formation: 3-4-3

Sergio Rico - GK - OVR 80 It's too little too late for Fulham, who managed to record a 1-0 win at the weekend. But with the pressure of a relegation fight now essentially off their shoulders, they managed to perform well. That being said their stopper, Rico, can take a lot of the plaudits after making eight saves in total to keep his clean sheet.

Daniel Caliguri - RWB - OVR 80 Schalke managed to take Dortmund out of the driving seat for the title with a 4-2 away win over them, a derby which saw Dortmund become frustrated and thus end the match down to just nine men. Caliguri caused most the damage from RB with two goals and one assist to his name, which saw him go on to pick up the Bundesliga Player of the Week.

Nicolas Nkoulou - CB - OVR 80 Other than Caliguri, the defenders were extremely difficult to select this week, and thus I have had to take several punts. One of which comes in Nkoulou, who I have selected for his MOTM performance in Torino's 2-0 home win over AC Milan.

Jonathan Tah - CB - OVR 83 Over to the Bundesliga for my next punt with Tah, who although scored and picked up a 1.5 from Kicker, was not named the official MOTM; teammate Kevin Volland claimed that accolade instead. With several midfielders performing to a higher standard than Volland, as well a lack of defenders overall, I am willing to take the punt that the no MOTM will be overlooked and thus Tah is included.

Pizzi - RW - OVR 83 There were a few options from Portugal this week, and with Benfica recording some big wins as of late, they are putting a huge statement out to Port, showing that they are not planning on messing up. It was a 4-1 away win against Braga this weekend, which is far from an easy task. Pizzi looks set to make TOTW from the said match after scoring twice and assisting another which saw Abola award him a huge 9/10.

Bernardo Silva - CM - OVR 84 Although many people joked about United letting City win this match it was still the most important one of the season which was left for them. They surpassed the challenge with a seemingly routine win. Once again Silva played a huge role in that, scoring the opener alongside claiming MOTM. Due to the magnitude of the match, I can see that being enough for Silva's inclusion.

Jonathan Viera - CM - OVR 82 The first of three CSL hat tricks I have in this week's side is Viera. The Spanish CM scored three of Beijing's four goals in a 4-1 win for them and is probably the most likely of the three to not miss out.

Nabil Fekir - CAM - OVR 85 Without L'Equipe being released this week, the French options were difficult to select and thus I can't be certain on Fekir's inclusion. But after he provided two assists in Lyon's 3-2 win, there's a good chance of his SIF occurring. Especially with a lack of high-rated players this week, he should be in.

Youcef Atal - LW - OVR 75 Onto an unusual one now with Atal, who is predominately an RB, playing in an LW position for Nice this weekend. Atal impressed from the position though, scoring all three of their goals, allowing Nice to go on and win 3-0 at home to Guingamp.

Mohamed Salah - RW - OVR 88 There are numerous Liverpool players I could have selected for this side after their 5-0 hammering of Huddersfield. Tthe main three being of course Robertson, Mane and Salah himself, as is often the case. For me, Salah seems to be the best bet after scoring twice and assisting another from his fairly customary RW position.

Felipe Caicedo - ST - OVR 77 Without a big name striker scoring multiple goals, it's always likely to be a weak TOTW, and it looks the case once again with Caicedo making our first 11. The Lazio striker gets the nod for his two goals which saw him awarded a 7.5 from Gazzetta.

Campana - CDM - OVR 79 With a lack of both goalkeeping and defensive options, I have decided to focus on getting as many correct as possible and I believe the best way this week is to include more midfielders. With a lack of La Liga options also being a problem, Campana's brace from CDM looks to be a solid bet.

Gustavo Bou - CAM - OVR 77 I could have easily ignored Bou and I probably would have if it wasn't for that perfect 10 match rating from SS. In the past, that rating has lead EA to force include players, and thus I can't help but feel that the same thing is going to happen with Bou, who scored twice and assisted another.

Munir - LM - OVR 77 With La Liga Santander playing twice this week, you would expect the side to be dominant from that division. But it's anything but the case with a lot of low scoring matches occurring. That being said, Munir looks to be an easy selection after scoring twice and assisting another from LM in Sevilla's 5-0 home win.

Eran Zahavi - LW - OVR 80 The CSL was a goldmine in terms of IF options this week and inevitably as a result one or two will miss out, perhaps undeservedly so. One I don't think will miss out, however, is Zahavi, largely due to being gold. The Israeli scored three times in a 3-1 win from what I believe was an LW position.

Graziano Pelle - ST - OVR 78 It's a shame that Pelle decided to move to the CSL with the Italian actually having a lot of talent. He added another hat trick to his name this week allowing his side to pick up all three points via a 3-0 win.

William - ST - OVR 75 It was a huge 4-1 win for Chaves over Nacional, of whom they are in a relegation battle with. The result allowed them to jump out of the drop, overtaking Nacional themselves. William scored three of those four goals, making him an easy choice for TOTW.

Callum Wilson - ST - OVR 78 Wilson finally looks set to pick up an IF after being brilliant all season for Bournemouth but narrowly falling short time and time again. Although they only recorded a point via a 3-3 away draw with Southampton, the fact that Wilson was involved in all three of those goals with two himself and an assist on the other should be enough for his inclusion.

Christian Mathenia - GK - OVR 73 Both Dortmund and Bayern ended up dropping points this weekend with FCB's coming via a 1-1 draw with Nurnberg. Mathenia was the stand out player in stopping Munich from a routine win, making multiple saves to keep the scores level. Kicker went on to award Mathenia a 1 match rating, which I can see being enough with the lack of keepers despite being silver.

Sean McConville - LM - OVR 66 Accrington provided Argyle with their fifth consecutive loss via a 5-1 home victory. During this match it was McConville who impressed the most, scoring three of those goals and assisting another from LM, which is more than enough for him to make the side.

Osayamen Osawe - ST - OVR 68 Bundesliga 3's player of the week award went the way of Osawe after the Nigerian striker scored three and assisted another in a 4-2 away win. Kicker awarded him a perfect 1 match rating making him an easy choice for the prediction.

Marc Gual - ST - OVR 70 It was a dead match in the second division of Spain with both sides having nothing but pride to play for. But regardless of that, we have a clear TOTW option with Gual. The Spaniard scored all three of Zaragoza's goals in their 3-0 away win over Cordoba.

Hamdi Harbaoui - ST - OVR 74 With the exclusion of Mortensen last week, I am a little worried on this one. But with it being a Europa league playoff match, rather than a relegation one, I could see it counting. Hamdi managed to score three times in a convincing 6-2 for Waregem, giving them the first win in their group.
