Last week's score: 16/23

Marko Dmitrovic - GK - OVR 79 Ironically, we start the prediction with a friendly, something of which I tried to ignore throughout the side otherwise. As is often the case with international fixtures, the keeper position was extremely difficult to select from, and thus I ended up with Dmitrovic. The Serbian picked up Man of the Match honors in their 1-1 draw with Germany after making a total of eight saves.
Raphael Varane - CB - OVR 86 Had Griezmann not have been in packs with his FUT Birthday item, I would have included him in this side with the MOTM award going his way. But I can't see France being ignored as a whole and thus I have opted for Varane instead. The Madrid defender scored one of France's four goals as they went on to win 4-1 away at Moldova.
Eric Bailly- CB - OVR 82 The assists specifically are often hard to find when it comes to the AFCON qualifiers and that could actually work in Bailly's favour. The Ivorian defender scored one of their three goals in a 3-0 win, with Pepe and Cornet scoring the others. With no assists easily available, that makes Bailly the favourite in my eyes and with him being an attractive item in FUT, I can't see EA looking elsewhere.
Kamil Glik - CB - OVR 83 Several defenders performed this week, which in tight international matches is quite often the outcome. Thus we have several defenders which narrowly miss out, despite including more than I usually would. Glik was on the borderline of the selection process, but sneaks in for his goal in Poland's 2-0 win over Latvia.
Nico Schultz - LWB - OVR 81 Arguably the biggest game of the week came when Netherlands hosted Germany in their European qualifying match. We were not disappointed, with a closely fought match ending up with Germany coming away as 3-2 away winners. Schultz picked up both a goal and assist from the match with the defender going on to pick up MOTM.
Eden Hazard - LW - OVR 91 One of the main names this week comes in Belgium's Eden Hazard, who ended up saving teammate, Courtois, blushing from a horrendous goalkeeping error, by scoring twice. Belgium went on to beat Russia by three goals to one.
Miralem Pjanic - CM - OVR 86 By far the biggest punt of the week comes in Pjanic. From what I can tell, he was the official MOTM in Bosnia's 2-1 win over Armenia, but with just one assist to his name, it is going to be difficult for him to be selected. That said, EA has shown personal preference to Pjanic over the years and thus it's a punt I am happy to make.
Rodrigo - RW - OVR 84 As is always the case with international weeks several punts need to be taken with it being slim pickings on most positions. Thankfully MARCA have helped me out on this one awarding Rodrigo a perfect three-star match rating for his goal in Spains 2-1 win over Norway.
Raheem Sterling - LW - OVR 87 Half of me is saying to ignore Sterling with his most recent IF coming just two weeks ago. But as the game progresses, EA become more relaxed with the rules and seeing as though it's not officially a back-to-back IF, I find it difficult to ignore an international hat-trick and thus I have included him. England looked dominant when hosting the Czech Republic but Sterling was the standout player, as he has been for City in recent weeks.
Memphis Depay - ST - OVR 84 Netherlands played two international qualifiers this week with the first being significantly easier on paper than the other. That was exactly how it played out, with the Dutch running away as 4-0 winners at home to Belarus. Depay was directly involved in all four of those goals, claiming both two goals and two assists.
Michy Batshuayi - ST - OVR 81 Although Hazard is the clear choice from Belgium, with a lack of options we could see two feature. Batshuayi scored once and assisted another two over the two games and with the additional factor of an OTW item going his way, he could sneak into the side.
Andriy Pyatov- GK - OVR 78 There are certain players which you regularly see featuring in international weeks and Pyatov is one of those joke ones which appears regularly with nobody predicting him to do so. Amusingly enough, he fully deserves his spot in this week's international side. The Ukrainian stopper was vital in their 0-0 draw with Portugal, making a total of eight saves to keep his sides clean sheet intact.
Roberto Rosales - LB - OVR 77 Although I wanted to ignore most, if not all friendly matches, I just couldn't look past the fact that Venezuela managed to upset Argentina, winning 3-1. Roasles contributed with two assists from LB making him the likely candidate.
Denis Cherysev - LM - OVR 77 While they ultimately came up short, Russia gave Belgium a good game in their first fixture of the week; Kazakhstan were their second, to which they proved to be far too strong. Cherysev was the standout player, scoring twice and assisting another as they went on to record a 4-0 win.
Albert Rusnak - RM- OVR 75 There were several fringe players coming from Slovakia's 2-0 win over Hungary but for me Rusnak's goal and assist from RM will be the eventual player selected from EA. Dubravka could sneak in due to a goalkeeper shortage, however.
Cenk Tosun - RW - OVR 80 The plan was to ignore Monday fixtures entirely, but with Turkey having a relatively early kick off, time I now find myself including Tosun for his brace in Turkey's 4-0 win. He also picked up an assist mid-week, but realistically this selection is solely for his performance on Monday evening.
Eran Zahavi - ST - OVR 80 Many expecting Austria to come out on top despite playing away from home. But Israel showed exactly what they are capable of, coming away with a 4-2 win. Zahavi was crucial in that result scoring three of the four goals, adding to the goal he also scored mid-week.
M'Baye Niang - ST - OVR 77 Although you can argue this item is pointless due to his swaps item, the positional change offers something different. Playing as a striker for his country, Niang managed to score both Senegal goals in their 2-0 AFCON win over Madagascar.
Ezgjan Alioski - LB - OVR 72 An unusual position change comes with this one with a RM to LB seemingly in place. I am going to give preference to all qualifiers for this prediction and thus Alioski looks a strong bet after scoring once and assisting another in North Macedonia's 3-1 home win over Latvia.
Marco Mancosu - CM - OVR 64 A bit of a random result came in the Italian second division with Leece running away as huge 7-0 winners when hosting Ascoli. Simply due to the magnitude of the win, I expect an IF to occur but with Mancosu claiming two goals and an assist from CM he becomes a realistic option regardless.
David Accam - LM - OVR 71 Although there were only a few games played the MLS still had a fixture list and thus I expect them to feature. Accam was their player of the week after he scored twice and assisted another in Philadelphia's 3-0 home win over Colombus.
Augustine Mulenga - LM - OVR 66 It's rare to see an IF from the likes of Zambia but with two goals to his name Mulenga could easily add himself to that exclusive list of players. Zambia ended up winning the match 4-1 with Mulenga playing a large part in the result.
Lucas Cavallini - ST - OVR 71 With no silver hat tricks to boast about, the reserves section was always going to be a difficult one to predict. I have gone for a North American qualifying match, with Canada running away as 4-1 winners. Cavallini scored two of those goals, but could also easily be snubbed in favour of Hoilett.
