Goalkeeper

Andrea Consigli - GK - OVR 83 With this prediction comes a slight risk as there is a chance that Consigli will make the Calcio A TOTS but I must be confident on my prediction that he will be excluded and thus making him a prime candidate for TOTW 35. In total Consigli made a total of seven saves in Sassuolo's 2-1 win over Inter and in turn seriously denting their hopes of Champions league football. Consigli was awarded an 8/10 from Gazzetta, making him player of the week.

Defenders

Andrew Robertson - LB - OVR 76 Robertson never really deserved a Community Team of the Season spot in my eyes so then to see him pick up a goal and assist, only weeks after picking up that item is that much more amusing. There’s no question about his spot in TOTW and thus should EA deem him able to be selected we will be seeing an IF Robertson.

Raul Albiol - CB - OVR 83 With a severely limited Calcio A option list it leaves the door open Albiol to pick up his second IF of the year thanks to another goal and clean sheet. Napoli went on to beat Sampdoria 2-0 which unfortunately for them was not enough to deny Juventus another title. Lots of positives can be taken from Napoli's campaign though.

Kendall Waston - CB - OVR 74 Although Vancouver failed to pick up maximum points the fact that Waston was involved in both their goals makes me lean towards him over other options. The fact he already has a special item further increases that. Another Bundesliga option could be forced into the spot but with a goal and assist Waston becomes difficult to snub for seemingly weaker options.

Midfielders

Leroy Sane - LW - OVR 84 Although Sane recently featured in the Premier League TOTS now that those items are out of packs alongside that this potential IF would be lower rated suggests that he is able to pick up an IF despite the small gap. The German helped City to that elusive 100-point total in the form of three assists during their 3-1 win at home to Brighton.

Manuel Lanzini - CAM - OVR 81 Now that West Ham were officially safe from relegation it allowed them to play with that much more freedom which has shown in their results as of late. It was another impressive win for them on Sunday, beating Everton 3-1 at home. Lanzini scored two of those goals and in turn looks set to pick up a SIF.

Ousmane Dembele - RW - OVR 83 Dembele has been very limited in terms of game time for Barcelona this season which can be frustrating for those Path to Glory owners but finally it looks as though he could be receiving an upgrade. The Frenchman scored twice in a convincing 5-1 win over Villarreal, picking up MOTM in the process.

Coutinho - LM - OVR 87 It does seem strange to award Barcelona with two IFs under the circumstances, especially with the second option coming in a match which lost them the unbeatable title. With Coutinho scoring three goals from midfield he does become very difficult to ignore though, after all how much more could he have really done? Despite ;losing the match Coutinho was awarded MOTM and for obvious reasons is not the only player I have included from this match

Gareth Bale - RW - OVR 89 Real Madrid are keeping their hopes of stealing second spot alive by continuing to pick up points convincingly. This time it came via a 6-0 home win over Celta Vigo. Bale looks set to be the best option with many of the other players featuring in TOTS. The Welsh winger scored two of those six goals and picked up MOTM by doing so.

Forwards

Martin Braithwaite - ST - OVR 77 Braithwaite is a familiar face in those cheap Ligue 1 sides and considering that he already has an IF in the championship this will be quite a boost to the Bordeaux NIF. He gets the nod after scoring twice and assisting another in a 4-2 home win. He was than awarded an 8/10 from L'Equipe which was the joint highest of the week.

Mario Balotelli - ST - OVR 83 There was a lack of gold ST options this week and thus Balotelli's two goals, one of which was a penalty stands out as one of the better options. This is significantly helped by the fact he was then awarded with an 8/10 from L'equipe and with the Italian potentially missing out on TOTS EA could feel that another IF could help soften the blow.

Substitutes

Ron Robert Zieler - GK - OVR 79 With golds being rather limited from Bundesliga I opted to select two from Stuttgart after their impressive 4-1 away win over Munich. The first is Zieler after he picked up a perfect 1 match rating from Kicker due to his seven saves. Although he failed to keep his clean sheet the 1 match rating should be enough for his eventual selection.

Kelvin Malcuit - RB - OVR 75 The fact that Malcuit was subbed in the 70th minute may harm his chances but when he was on the field his contribution is enough in my eyes for him to be included. The Lille defender picked up the assist on both their goals, as they came from behind to beat Dijon 2-1. A result which confirms Lille's position in Ligue 1 next season.

Erik Lamela - RM - OVR 80 It was an enthralling watch for those who travelled to the Tottenham Leicester game with the hosts coming from behind to win a dramatic nine goal thriller, 5-4. As you can imagine such a result offered a fair few IF options but the best one must come from Lamela, who didn't pick up a TOTS item and was on the winning side. He scored two of Tottenham’s five and thus I expect to see him make the eventual team on Wednesday.

Mauro Diaz - CAM - OVR 75 The MLS has a few options to select from this week and thus it is likely that someone will miss out. I feel as though Diaz is one of the stronger options though, especially considering that he is a gold item. The FC Dallas midfielder provided the assist on all three of their goals as they recorded a 3-2 win over LA Galaxy.

Samu Castillejo - RM - OVR 80 Yet another RM potentially making the side is Villarreal's Castillejo, the Spaniard scored twice for them as they went on to record a 4-2 win over Deportivo. Another option is Fornals who assisted twice but I feel as though goals will count for more than assists and thus making Castillejo the best option for the IF.

Daniel Ginczek - ST - OVR 75 Stuttgart recorded a seriously impressive 4-1 away win over Munich, even if Munich didn't field a full-strength side it’s still a result which deserves recognition. Donis was the official MOTM but with him being silver I can't see him being included. That leaves it to both Ginczek and Zieler. I have opted for Ginczek who scored two of those goals but we could see both included.

Hamdi Harbaoui - ST - OVR 72 After being snubbed for scoring four goals I previously felt that Harbaoui was unable to pick up an IF from the Belgian play-off system but he was then selected for a hat trick, only the week after. Well he's at it yet again with another three being added to his tally during a colossus 8-0 win. Now that it is a SIF he will be gold which only increases his chances of selection.

Reserves

Alexandr Erokhin - CM - OVR 74 After being amazed at what Le Goff managed last week it's safe to say that I am in a familiar position this week. Zenit ran away as 6-0 winners while hosting SKA this weekend. It was an unfamiliar face in the headlines though with Erokhin contributing to five of those goals from CM. Four being from his own boot while the other was of course an assist.

Mason Mount - CM - OVR 65 I am not certain on the eligibility of this specific match but at the same time I just couldn't ignore Mount's performance. The game came in the form of a Europa league play-off match, of which Vitesse recorded a 5-2 win over Den Haag. Mount was involved in four of those goals, scoring three and assisting another from central midfield.

Steven Lewerenz - LM - OVR 67 Once again, we saw several midfielders excel throughout what was the final game of the season for many. One of those was the second division of Germany which saw Holsten Kiel end on a high with a 6-2 home win. Lewerenz scored four of those six goals and as you would imagine went on to pick up player of the week.

Fernando Uribe - ST - OVR 74 Although Tijuana ended the game with 9 men, two of Uribe's three goals came while it was 11v11. Although that probably wouldn't have been enough for his inclusion it will help his case over other options. Uribe ended the match with three goals and an assist, as Toluca went on to win 4-1.

Emmanuel Boateng - ST - OVR 72 We end the prediction which many would class as the upset of the season. It looked as though Barcelona were going to accomplish the unbeatable season. That was until they fell to Levante on the 37th fixture. What's more impressive is that it wasn't a park the bus 1-0 job but instead Levante found themselves 5-1 up at one stage. The match ended 5-4 but the damage was already done. Boateng scored three of those four and thus walks into the side.
