Last week's score: 18/23 (22)
Formation: 3-4-1-2

Goalkeeper

Ederson - GK - OVR 84 Another OTW bump looks to be on the way for Ederson after his display against Arsenal. Manchester City seemingly dominated again on paper with a 3-0 win, but it doesn't quite tell the story. Sane deserves a mention for his goal and assist but Ederson was the real hero, making a total of five saves, one of which came from an Aubameyang penalty.

Defenders

Daniele Rugani - CB - OVR 80 With Napoli dropping points to Roma it left the door open for Juventus to close the gap to a single point and they did so in fashion. Dybala scored the only goal of the game which came in the 93rd minute but another Dybala IF for a single goal is pushing it and thus we have Rugani who assisted said goal.

Lewis Dunk - CB - OVR 75 Brighton have proved doubter wrong in their first season in the Premier league with a second season looking more and more likely. They recorded an impressive 2-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday from which Dunk scored one of the goals. Due to the scenario I feel as though he will be included.

Mariano - RB - OVR 79 Galatasaray recorded a 7-0 demolition over the weekend, four of which were scored by the inform Gomis. He obviously can't pick up the IF due to being in the current side but there are a couple of teammates who can pick the IF up instead, Mariano is one after he picked up two assists and helped towards the clean sheet.

Midfielders

Heung Min Son - LM - OVR 83 Considering that Son doesn't play week in week out it is beyond impressive that the Korean is now in line for his fourth IF of the season. Spurs recorded a routine 2-0 win over Huddersfield from which it was Son himself with both the goals.

Ki Sung Yeung - CM - OVR 78 Swansea's turnaround gets more and more impressive by the week. They are now as high as 13th position after seemingly looking like relegation favourites. Their latest victory came in the form of a 4-1 win over West Ham with Ki scoring one and assisting another from CM.

Franco Vazquez - CAM - OVR 82 Vazquez was involved in both Sevilla goals as they registered three points via a 2-0 home win over Bilbao with a goal and assist. An important win in their race for champions league football.

Thomas Muller - RM - OVR 86 Muller claimed the joint highest rating in the Bundesliga this week for his part in Munich's 4-0 away win over Frieburg. The German scored one and assisted another which is seemingly enough for another IF Muller.

Forwards

Edin Dzeko - ST - OVR 84 Roma have finally started to string some results together after an horrific run of form. This one was perhaps the most impressive one though with a 4-2 away win over Napoli which allows Juventus to close the gap at the top to just one point. Two Roma players make my side, the first of which is Dzeko for scoring two of the four goals.

Jonas - ST - OVR 83 Jonas has been on the fringe of his SIF for a while now but has narrowly missed out with two goals time and time again. This time he went one better though scoring three during Benfica's 5-0 hammering of Maritimo.

Antoine Griezmann - ST - OVR 88 Griezmann was ruled out last week due to his MOTM being in packs but now that has been removed he can pick one up in TOTW 25. The Frenchman made it seven in two games after scoring all four of Madrid's 4-0 win over Leganes. Felipe Luis also deserves a mention after assisting one and making a goal line clearance but as you would expect Griezmann stole all the headlines.

Substitutes

Alisson - GK - OVR 80 The second player I have selected for Roma's previously mentioned 4-2 win over Napoli is Alisson. Although the keeper conceded twice he still played a huge part in the win making an impressive eleven saves which proved to be the difference between the two sides. The Brazilian picked up an 8/10 from Gazzetta which is more than enough for an inclusion.

Ismael Traore - CB - OVR 76 There were so many options I considered for this final spot with shout outs going to Dubois, Hubner and Feghouli all of whom narrowly miss the side. Not to mention all the non-gold options alongside that. In the end I narrowed it down to Ligue 1 due to the lack of them and thus Traore gets the nod for his goal and 7 from L'Equipe during a 3-0 win.

Ricardo Horta - LM - OVR 76 Portugal was full of IF candidates this week and a big reason for that is some of the score lines. Braga recorded a very convincing 6-0 away win against Estoril and from that we have several IF options. Horta is the obvious selection though and with two goals and two assists from LM there is no reason to look elsewhere.

Denis Zakaria- CDM - OVR 77 Another Gladbach CDM looks set to pick up an IF for one goal from CDM with Zakaria. The Swiss Youngster scored the first of their two goals in a 2-2 draw and was awarded with a 1.5 from Kicker for doing so.

Erhun Oztumer - CAM - OVR 69 I really do need to try and keep the non-gold players down to five however when there are so many performing well it becomes extremely difficult to do so. Oztumer makes the cut for scoring three goals from CAM and when you see the reserves you will quickly notice the trend.

Wylan Cyprien - CM - OVR 79 There was a lack of Ligue 1 options, especially outside of the defenders and that is likely to work in Cypriens favour who is arguably the best option in Ligue 1 this week. The Nice central midfielder scored one and assisted another in a 2-1 win over Lille, their first since January.

Mario Gomez - ST - OVR 82 Now this one is slightly difficult as Gomez was not the official MOTM however he did receive the same match rating. The deciding factor has to be the fact he is a gold item though with so many silvers already being in contention I feel as though Thommy with his three assists will miss out to Gomez's two goals due to the competition on the reserves.

Reserves

Bismark - RW - OVR 69 Over to the Saudi league now where we have a hat trick. It came in a seven goal thriller from which Al Qadisiya came out on top of. Bismark's position comes down to personal perspective but in my eyes it's a RW role. Regardless of his position I am sure we will be seeing an IF Bismark on Wednesday.

Omar Duarte - ST - OVR 63 There were a few lower level strikers making their mark with a hat trick this week which makes selecting between them difficult. Duarte is the first I have selected for his three goals in Huila's 3-1 home win.

Bobby Reid - ST - OVR 67 Most English games outside the Premier league were called off due to the snow but Bristol City's game against Wednesday went ahead. They took advantage of this by winning 4-0, of which three of the goals went to their striker Bobby Reid.

Smail Prevljak - ST - OVR 61 Mattersburg continued their impressive start after the Winter break, making it four wins and a draw which has helped propel them away from the bottom of the table. Prevljak was the man of the moment, scoring all three of their goals in an impressive 3-2 win over third placed Admira.

Patrick Bamford - ST - OVR 70 Bamford was once hyped up to be a top end Premier league striker and although he has not been a total flop it's safe to say that many will be disappointed with how he has ended out. He is scoring goal in the Championship and with another three being added to his tally this week he looks set to pick up his first IF.
