Marco Bizot - GK - OVR 77 This was a ridiculously hard decision to make with both Bizot and Onana undoubtedly deserving of a position in this team. That being said I could easily see them both making it with one being an extra. In the end I simply couldn't ignore AZ's success this season and with just 17 goals being conceded Bizot had to get the nod for me despite being the less desirable option. Additionally, Ajax have numerous obvious options while AZ Alkmaar are limited.
Nicolas Tagliafico - LB - OVR 82 Tagliafico has become a well-known name when talking about LB's in recent years, especially with Ajax doing so well in last years Champions League and theres good reason for that. The Argentine offers a lot at both ends of the field, which in the modern game is crucial to many big clubs. Domestically he managed three goals and four assists but also supplied strong performances in Europe. With him having an 87 rated item before TOTSSF I fully expect to see Tagliafico in the Eredivisie release
Teun Koopmeiners - CB - OVR 76 Koopmeiners could easily be classed as a midfielder for this side but I feel as though he was at his best while in the defence and thus I have opted to include him as a CB. The next questionable decision is the amount of penalties that make Koopmeiners record look as good as it is, with eleven goals to his name. That being said AZ have been superb this year and without Koopmeiners influence from the spot we could be looking at a completely different league table and thus I simply cant exclude him from this team.
Denzel Dumfries - RB - OVR 78 PSV failed to be as dominant as they often are this year with both AZ and Feyenoord giving them a run for their money in the usual top two of PSV and Ajax. One player who did stand out however was RB, Denzel Dumfries. Although he mainly stands out for his offensive contributions. Seven goals and two assists from a RB position is what he managed and with him being a desirable option in FIFA I can't see EA missing out on that opportunity to include him.
Oussama Idrissi - LW - OVR 75 AZ Alkmaar are likely to most upset about the scrapping of the Eredivisie this season, that is after they managed to get themselves in a serious position to go on and win the title, with them being joint top with Ajax after 25 games. Although a lot of their success was from the defensive side of their game they still managed to score 54 goals. Idrissi played an important role going forward providing 13 goals and 3 assists
Hakem Ziyech - CAM - OVR 85 Ziyech has played in numerous positions this season and thus the position of which EA decide for his TOTSSF item is up for debate. With previous dynamic items falling under CAM I have decided to go with that. The Moroccan has once again picked up interest from around Europe after another strong campaign for Ajax in the Eredivisie, with six goals and twelve assists to his name before the season was abandoned.
Donny Van De Beek - CM - OVR 81 There are quite a lot of Ajax players in this side which is a tad harsh on AZ but when it comes to FIFA the likelihood is that they will dominate this side. Infact I wouldn't be surprised to see even more than I have already selected. Van De Beek decided to stay at Ajax for another year after impressing for Ajax in the 2018/19 campaign alongside other youngsters who left in De Ligt and De Jong. Once again clubs are likely to come chasing the talented midfielder though after he scored eight goals and five assists for the Dutch outlet.
Steven Berghuis - RW - OVR 80 There was a lot of competition for the winger position in the Eredivisie which could see the likes of Berghuis selected for either an SBC or an objective item instead but as for the best eleven this season Berghuis easily makes it. With 15 goals to his name he was the joint highest scorer in the division and with an additional 7 assists alongside that you can see why several sides of declared interest in the winger.
Dusan Tadic - CF - OVR 84 Another Ajax player with a positional question to answer was Tadic, with the same applying about numerous positions. In this scenario I have opted for CF though. Regardless of what position EA decide there is no question regarding his inclusion though. The Serbian has been a factor in the goals almost every week with eleven of his own going alongside fourteen assists. Statistics which mean on average Tadic contributes to a goal a game, you can't argue with that.
Cyriel Dessers - ST - OVR 68 It's safe to say that Dessers was relatively unheard of before this season but the 24 year old Belgian/Nigerian striker will be looking to thrive from it with the likes of Galatasaray declaring major interest in the forward. With 15 goals to his name he was the joint highest goalscorer in the Eredivisie, helping Heracles to a strong eighth place "finish"
Donyell Malen - ST - OVR 76 As seen already, especially with the likes of Haaland, EA are more than willing to include a player with minimal games to his name. PSV started the season well with Malen scoring week in week out but a knee injury stopped him fourteen games in. PSV never looked the same after that and struggled as a result. With eleven goals to his name Malen is still up there in terms of most goals scored which from fourteen games is still an impressive figure and thus gets the nod over other potential candidates.
