Díaz In-Game Stats & Player Analysis
The latest Copa Libertadores themed SBC, Marcelo Diaz arrives as a cheaper addition, providing solid links to some of the latest CONMEBOL cards in packs, but is he worth it?
His stats certainly look very well rounded, with only 3 stats below the 80 mark, on his 73 Sprint Speed, 68 Finishing and 72 Heading, which aren’t overly important stats for the box to box type CM that Diaz is.
As a passer of the ball in midfield, Diaz has solid stats, with 89 Vision, 96 Short Passing, 94 Long Passing and 94 Curve.
Important stats such as 99 Balance and 97 Stamina help make this card even more well rounded as the box to box CM.
Defensively, again he looks well rounded, with 90 Interceptions, 87 Defensive Awareness and 85 Standing Tackling, while going forward, 99 Shot Power and 95 Long Shots make him a threat from distance.
Díaz Squad Links
As a Chilean in the Argentinian league, there aren’t a tonne of top links you can utilise outside of some of the new CONMEBOL cards that have recently been added.
A top perfect link that you can utilise has to be the 87 Mena, who offers a very well rounded defensive perfect link to Diaz. Fellow Racing Club players 90 Rojas and 91 Lopez also offer very usable strong links, plus you have tonnes of other Argentinian league CONMEBOL items to link him into a squad, with 92 Tevez and 91 Salviobeing popular options.
Unless you’re very interested in using the latest CONMEBOL items in an original squad, I wouldn’t really be that interested in completing this Diaz SBC.
While he does have great stats, and for the price is a very good card, his linkability outside the Argentinian league is very poor, meaning he probably won’t make it into many top tier meta teams.
Value Rating - 6/10
