The FIFA 18 competitive gaming cycle wrapped up in a big way this past weekend with Saudi Arabia's Mossad "Msdossary7" Aldossary deservedly crowned a FUT world champion. Outlasting a loaded field in arguably the biggest FIFA eSport event ever, Dossary set the table for FIFA 19 with a brilliant display of on the ball command and control, tactical adjustments, and perhaps most impressively of all, suffocating defense.
But speaking of FUT 19, it's that time of year. And we've got good news: Futhead's very own Luke Zimmermann (aka "lukezim") and the FUT Weekly Podcast hosts Ben & Horace all three got their hands on the new game in London this past week. If you're curious about what new features to anticipate, how gameplay measures up to 18, or which players you should be excited about most, we've got all that and more.
And just to really cap things, the FUT Weekly boys chat up Dossary minutes after he lifted the trophy and claimed the 2018 belt. They also sync up with 2017 FIWC champion, Spencer "FaZe Gorilla" Ealing. You won't want to miss this one.
This week's pod includes:
--FIFA 19 thoughts and reactions
--FUT Division Rivals
--Impressions of timed finishing
--The importance of the new 50/50 challenges system
--Which new Icons you should be excited about
--Exclusive interviews with Msdossary and Huge Gorilla
-- Other ways
