It'd been quiet on the FIFA 20 news front for a hot sec with a lucky few (/shakes fist) mostly heads down on the ongoing closed beta.
Though there's no evidence to suggest uncorroborated rumors of an open beta (or additional round of codes) are going out anytime soon, we did get a sweet taste of FUT 20 developments when two of the remaining 9 FUT 20 Icon guesses panned out.
Former Liverpool greats Ian Rush and ex-England international John Barnes are officially confirmed in the fold for Ultimate Team's latest edition dropping this fall.
Though both players called it a career before many Futheaders were of age to closely follow them, Rush was an outstanding marksman with decent overall attributes that helped him see his clubs to 2 European Cups, 5 Football League First Division (the predecessor to the current Premier League) titles, and 8 total league or FA Cups. He probably won't fit the Meta -- assuming it's as prevalent as the competitive scene has made it of late -- but should be a nice pickup for any Liverpool devotee nonetheless.
Barnes, a pacey, skillfull winger, should be more of a tremendous all around forward in-game. Barnes was a part of two league title winners (one with Rush) and had three cup trophy lifts to his credit as well.
While you may have only seen these two on YouTube, what are your thoughts on possible ratings for them? Assuming we get three or four versions of each, as precedent would suggest, what do we think we're going to see for their best versions?
