And then there were eight? After one of the best games of competitive FIFA you'll ever see (long-time competitive scene stalwart MoAuba, formerly 'Mo Aubameyang', took down PS4 favorite Nicolas99fc 4-3 on penalties after the latter scored two goals in the final four minutes to force Extra Time in the second leg), EA announced four more FIFA 20 Ones to Watch.
Arsenal's record signing Nicolas Pepe (late of Lille) leads the way, along with three other Premier League representatives. Manchester United's big summer signing (until the rumored Harry Maguire move is official at least), fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka -- who was actually at the 2019 FIFA eWorld Cup in London taking in the action -- also factors in along with a pair of strikers in recent Newcastle debutant scorer Joelinton Cassio Apolinário de Lira and West Ham's Sebastien Haller. Four other OTWs were previously announced.
Though none of these OTWs -- which if you're unclear on what that means are dynamic player items that's stats update each time the player depicted gets an In-form, Man of the Match, Hero, Record Breaker, or European Team of the Tournament player item -- are particularly shocking, it's still nice to see a busy summer of transfers confirmed to be reflected in what we'll see after the world wide launch of FIFA 20 on 27 September.
A reminder as well that if you preorder the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 20 by 5 August, you'll get an untradeable Ones to Watch as a pre-order bonus. If you order that version afterwards, you won't.
What'd you rate each of these guys? Which other OTWs are you hoping to see post-launch?
