91 Modric, 82 Pickford, Maguire, 84 Dzagoev the final FUT 18 World Cup quarterfinals MOTMs

Saturday's games saw England come one step closer to "bringing football home," by ousting Sweden 2-0, and Croatia continue their magical run by ending the Russia's improbable one. The two will face each other in Wednesday's semi-final at Luhzniki Stadium in Moscow.

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire scored his first international goal, in ten appearances for England, against Sweden with a wonderful header from a corner in the 30th minute. Dele Alli's header in the 58th minute put The Three Lions in cruise control in the 58th, but Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford put in a star showing between the sticks, with three crucial saves. Maguire goes from a 79-overall rating to an 82, while Pickford rises to an 82-overall as well.

After a testy matchup with Denmark, Croatia was taken to penalties yet again, this time against the host nation. Russia got on the scoresheet first with a truly insane finish from tournament star man Denis Cheryshev, but Croatia countered within minutes and equalized off a deft cross and a grounded header from Andrej Kramarić in the 39th minute.

In extra-time, Domagoj Vida rose to head in the go-ahead goal from Croatia in the 100th minute, but a whipped ball from CSKA Moscow man Alan Dzagoev met the head of Mário Figueira Fernandes 15 minutes later to send the game to penalties. Croatia's star man, Real Madrid center midfielder Luka Modrić was relentless in the middle of the park yet again, with three shots, four key passes, and an 87 percent passing accuracy. Dzagoev's boosted from 81 up to 84 overall while Modric's second boost sees him rise from 90 to 91.
