FIFA 19 demo release date confirmed for Thursday, 13 September

Though a press release revealed as much four days ago, a tweet from the official Sony PlayStation account confirmed Tuesday what an EA SPORTS FIFA producer said in a recorded interview Monday: the FIFA 19 demo drops this coming Thursday, September 13.

The demo, the same one available to those who attended Gamescom 2018 this past August, gives users the ability to play with the following teams:

  • Juventus
  • Real Madrid
  • Manchester United
  • Manchester City
  • Bayern Munich
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Atletico Madrid
  • Borussia Dortmund
  • A.S. Roma
  • Tottenham Hotspur

Dortmund, of course, returns to the fold after re-entering into an agreement with EA following a brief cup of coffee partnership with Konami and PES.

The demo version of the game also allows users to sample the early chapters of "The Journey: Champions" and experience the new UEFA Champions League enhanced gameplay/presentation package. Assuming the demo version of The Journey is the same one available to influencers and press at this past week's Germany based FIFA 19 Capture Event, there should be one pretty cool surprise in it.

Now that we know the launch date of the FIFA 19 demo, what aspects are you most excited to sample before next Wednesday/Thursday's EA Access 10 hour trial launch?
